She’s the paradigm of a woman with an insecure attitude, lacking her own will and emotionally unstable.Even in death, Ophelia shows a passive behavior: she does not commit suicide, though she fails to save herself from sinking. she is a casualty of a society that forces unreasonable expectations for its women. she never afforded the liberty of thinking for herself. Forgetting about herself is what leads her to her tragic death ✨🌿
